Hello,

This will act as the introductory entry to my brand new blog. Let's see, how can I describe myself without sounding like David Copperfield or Forest Gump?

I was born in Tacoma, WA but moved to Korea by the time I was one (and then back to the states when I was three). By the time I was thirteen, I had lived in over six different states, the common story of a military brat. Ever since I was a little kid, i have enjoyed telling stories. At first out loud, then on paper, and eventually on film. After four and a half years of Film School at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, six months in TV news, and nearly a year in Radio, I decided that Graduate School was the way to go. Thus, I find myself a happy and ambitious MFA Film Production Candidate at the University of Texas at Austin.

Here are three links that should help describe my career.

News coverage of a film festival where I screened m¥ undergraduate Thesis "Lemonade Stand". I took home the award for best comedy.

A documentary that I made two years ago. It has done very well and gotten me a few free trips to festivals.

A link to a clip from a narrative short film I made two years ago. It screened in the UT Hollywood Showcase.

I am a very ambitious person. My goal is to make films with original concepts while pushing the boundaries of what film is capable of as a creative medium. There is much, much more to come so stay tuned!
